Charged for displaying membership of a criminal gang – 18 year old Angel Ku might be second guessing his choice in tattoos. On Wednesday morning, the teen was picked up by cops who were in the area of Kiskidee Street in Corozal Town. Their attention was drawn to a number of gang-typed graffitis painted on walls, lampposts and drains. Angel Ku was on the street at the time and Police observed that he had a “XV3” and “30’s” tattoos on his hand. These are signs displayed by 18th Street and 30’s Crips gangs. The 18 year old was detained and charged with displaying membership of a criminal gang.
