A man who was jailed after robbing a businessman at gunpoint and shooting at a responding cop, walked free yesterday. 20 year old Stephen Anderson was charged for holding up a businessman and stealing his motorbike in April of 2012. Soon after, Police reportedly got into a high speed chase with Anderson, where he allegedly fired two shots at the police car. He was soon captured and a .38 pistol, two bullets and a live round were reportedly found on him. Anderson was subsequently charged with attempted murder, use of deadly means of harm, robbery, keeping unlicensed firearm and keeping unlicensed ammunition. Yesterday the prosecution informed the court that they did not have a case file and the case was subsequently thrown out.
