64 year old charged for fire chief death

64 year old Jose Gregory Williams was arraigned on four charges in relation to the traffic accident that led to the death of Corozal Fire Chief  33 year old Meshach Henry.     Williams was charged for driving without due care and attention, failing to give way to a motor vehicle on a major road, causing death by careless conduct and manslaughter by negligence. The tragic accident took place last Friday when Henry’s motor bike collided into a dump truck. The accident occurred about 11:30 a.m when witnesses say the dump truck crossed the street while Henry was going down the Santa Rita road into Corozal Town. Henry was on his recently purchased motorcycle at the time and tried to apply his brakes but slammed into the truck and died instantly.  The person now charged in relation to that death, Jose Williams, was granted bail in the sum of $4,000 when he appeared in court on Monday afternoon. vlcsnap-2016-06-08-08h56m55s033 vlcsnap-2016-06-08-08h56m51s068
