Missing Stann Creek man found dead

Yesterday we reported on the missing persons report coming from the south. Our Dangriga Correspondent, James Valerio, reported that the family of 41 year old Ignacio Ical were conducting a search for the man who had been missing for a few days. Today, the family got the sad news that their loved one was found murdered. James Valerio reports.

Around 3pm today Mr. Ignacio Ical’s body was found decomposed behind Canada Hill. According to his family he was brutally murdered because the body suffered multiple chop wounds behind the head. A family member of Igancio Ical will give us those details.

We went to look for him at the same spot where some papayas had fallen on the ground; it’s a location where all hunters go. My oldest brother said that they found Ignacio only a hundred feet away from that place. He said that the body was decomposed already and his head was already in skeleton form.

My dad told me that my brother said to him that someone tried to kill him on two different occasions but he didn’t tell us, he only told my father and my father was just telling us about this early this morning.
