Pastor charged for molesting under-aged boy
Date: Mon 24, Oct 2011 |
37 year old Jason Neal was accused of molesting an under aged boy.  Neal, a pastor of a small church in Roaring Creek, handed himself into police after he was informed that the Belmopan Comprehensive High School student had made the report that his pastor molested him. The child told the police that sometime in the moth of June, he was sleeping on Neal’s sofa when he woke up to find Neal touching his penis.  He also reported that in the month of July, Neal touched him inappropriately again. Neal was arraigned in court today and was charged with two counts of aggravated assault. He pleaded guilty and he was fined 3 thousand dollars on each count. Investigation revealed that Neal was accused of such behavior before, while he was teaching at a school in Hattieville some years ago. Neal was dismissed from teaching at the school but because no charges were pressed in that instance, Neal found himself working at another school in Roaring Creek before he began pastoring a small church in the community. As for Neal’s fine of $6000, he has to pay that by December 16th of this year or else serve jail time.
