A Shot Ankle Tolls a Painful Lesson on Alleged Culprit

Around 9:40 p.m. the group of soldiers were searching a house in the area when they saw Bevans, 22, jumping the zinc fence and running off.  They quickly caught up with him, but he grabbed one of the pursuing soldiers’ weapon and refused to let it go when one of his colleagues intervened.  As a result that second officer shot Bevans with his M-4 carbine, injuring him in the right ankle and left leg which suggests the single bullet cut through both limbs.  Bevans is now detained.
