Police say that American National Timothy McNamara was not murdered but took his own life. According to police, the incident happened on Christmas Day at a farm in Boston Village on the Old Maskall Road.
On the verandah of a house was the motionless body of 66-year-old American retiree Timothy Patrick McNamara, laying face up in a pool of blood with an apparent gunshot wound to the head.
43 –year-old Tracy Channon Nessl, an American Domestic also of the same address, reported that she and the deceased were in the kitchen conversing about some financial difficulties they were having when he went on the verandah. That is when she heard a single gunshot and upon making checks, she saw Timothy McNamara laying face up in a pool of blood, with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. Beside the body was Tracy’s licensed 9mm pistol.
Police recovered the 9mm Glock pistol with one magazine containing (6) 9mm live rounds and (1) 9mm expended shell from the scene. The firearm is licensed in the name Tracy Nessl.
The body was transported to the K.H.M.H. where it was pronounced dead.
