Ammunition removed from Belize City streets

Police have removed ammunition form the streets in Belize City.

On January 8, police visited an area by the corner of Lakeview and Vernon Street behind the Lodge Building, and found a black plastic bag containing 12 live rounds of .9mm ammunition.

The following day, they also searched visited an area on Pregnant Alley, and found a Plastic bag containing 15 live rounds of vlcsnap-2015-02-10-08h52m58s117.9mm ammunition.

All rounds were retrieved and taken to Precinct 1 Police Station where they were deposited as Found Property.
