Authorities Found Armed Guatemalans in Belizean Territory

vlcsnap-2014-03-26-22h05m04s139On Monday morning, while police were conducting foot patrol in the Chiquibul National Park they encountered two Hispanic males in Belizean territory.

One of the male persons had a  point 22 rifle slung on his back and the other a 9mm pistol. Both persons were searched which led to the discovery of two point 22 magazines both containing 10 live rounds. The men were Guatemalan, 21 year old Jose Sub Coc, and 36 year old Pedro Lopez Ica, also a Guatemalan farmer.

Police arrested and charged both persons for the Offence of Kept Firearm without a Gun License and Kept Ammunition without a Gun License.
