The Female’s National Volleyball Team is not unheard of in Belize. They have often competed and won in various different tournaments outside of the country; and not once have they failed to represent. This week the ladies are at it again as they represent the country in the Female U-20 Central American Championship held in Copán, Honduras. On Monday, August 19, the ladies played their first match, which resulted in our favour as they pulled off a massive win against Honduras beating them in the first three sets. Yesterday, the team played against El Salvador, who proved more challenging than Honduras, however, Belize still managed to pull off an impressive win of three sets to one.  Belize was scheduled to play against Nicaragua Wednesday evening at 5:00 pm. We’ll have the results of that game on Thursday. You can view the schedule of the tournament and follow a link to watch the games live on the Belize Volleyball Facebook page.
