Belize has set NO date for referendum

Belize has not set a date for its referendum as yet, but according to the Vice President of Guatemala, Jafeth Cabrera, Belize’s national referendum will be held in May of this year. Cabrera told the Guatemalan media that  he was informed of this by Belize’s Foreign Minister, Wilfred Elrington at the Summit of the Americas in Peru. However, that information is false as Belize will be holding a re-registration process before a referendum can take place and no official date has been set for either the re-registration or the referendum as yet.
