The Belize Leadership Summit is a two day event scheduled for next week Wednesday and Thursday. That is the 29th and 30th of October. International and local speakers will key in on issues that affect, impact, and influence businesses, organizations, ministries, families and more.
Kerm Thimbrel, one of the organizers of the event, gave us more details.
Kerm Thimbrel – Summit Leader
“Some of the presenters include corporate presidents, university coaches, bankers, international business trainers, and businessmen in general. These people are coming out of the Dallas area of the United States.
It’s for business people. It’s for corporate managers.
Because of some of the topics that is going to be addressed, if I could highlight a few of them: One of them is, for example, ‘Growing Your Business’. We also have ‘Business Start-up Keys’. It caters for people who are already businessmen, but also those who are new and want to be able to get into that arena.
We have topics like: ‘Building Better Teams’, which really fits into the corporate world; ‘Leading With Grace’; ‘Creating Something Out Of Nothing’, so again that goes back to the younger part of the population, who may be thinking, ‘You know what? I’m interested to do something’, but they don’t know what to do from here onwards. Those are some of the people that we’re going to be catering towards and addressing.”
According to Kerm Thimbrel, the conference is for current and aspiring leaders from all spheres of influence and will help those leaders to excel and increase their impact.
“It’s one to expose those who may be searching for what’s their new chapter of their life going to be like. But it also caters for those who are already experienced in the managerial areas, to be able to challenge them with principles of how to manage, principles that have been proven in the first-world nations of how to be successful.
It’s really geared to bring solutions to the experience, and also knowledge to those who may be earlier in that stage in their lives. They can probably be referred to as novices, who are just starting out in those arenas of life. So equip them with the knowledge, the know-how, how to build, how to construct, how to build a business, how to start it up, what are the principles that you can implement, to take you from this level to that level.”
Registration is $20 at the door for the entire two day event.
Again, that is Wednesday October 29 and Thursday October 30 at the George Price Center in Belmopan, from 9 am to noon, 1 pm to 3:30 pm, and 6:30 to 9 pm.
