Belizean US Army Sergeant Dies During Training in New Mexico
27 year Sgt. Dwight Burn died this weekend in a helicopter crash at Fort Bliss, Texas.
Dwight Burn, who lived in Barstow, California up to the time of his death, was a Belizean born national who left Belize years ago to pursue a career with the US Army.
According to WRAL news, Sgt. Burn was one of four members and also the crew chief aboard a helicopter- that went down during a training in Orogrande, New Mexico.

“…he told his mother that the plane went down got caught on fire and crashed and that he had passed away”.
According to reports, the three other crew members aboard the helicopter sustained injuries, but, are in a stable condition. He is survived by his two daughters 7 year old Violetta and 4 year old Vivian
Cynthia Vazquez: “He was a great father; he was funny guy to play around with. He was a gamer. He used to play plane video games with his family, his mom”.
According to the news reports, the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
