Belmopan Taxi man shot and killed on Friday night

At around 10:30 to 11:00 p.m. on Friday night , January 8, residents living near the Picinni area in Belmopan say they heard at least 5 distinct gunshots in the distance coming from the George Price Boulevard.  Police were called out to the area and immediately responded to find a person face down on the ground  at the corner George Price Blvd and Victoria Peak Street. When PlusNews appeared on the scene, a small group of Belmopan residents had already gathered in the area as police processed the scene. On Monday, in an interview with Officer Second in Command and Inspector Stephanie Grinage, she told us more about the murder.
