Cecil Ramirez Jr. freed of murder charge

An SJCJC Student who was slapped with a single charge of murder back in December 2015, has been set free. 20 year old Cecil Ramirez Jr., saw the charge withdrawn by the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions for insufficient evidence. Ramirez, defended by Dickie Bradley and Senior Counsel Said Musa, say that according to the Director, a prima facie case has not been established after police investigation. Ramirez was allegedly placed at the scene by a witness but none saw him inflict Flowers’ fatal injuries. In fact, according to Bradley, witnesses who gave police statements said Ramirez Jr., was one of many seen running before Flowers was stabbed, meaning he would have had to be in two places at the same time.  The stabbing of Lennox Flowers occurred after a misunderstanding among a group. Flowers, it is reported, was approached by a trio of men, one of whom inflicted a stab wound causing his death.
