24 year-old Ethon Belisle, a resident of St. Pauls Bank was charged him with 2 counts of manslaughter, 2 counts of causing death by careless conduct, 1 count of driving a motor vehicle without due care and attention, and 1 count of improperly overtaking a vehicle that was in front of him. All these charges arise from a deadly traffic accident that happened two weeks ago between Miles 6 and 7 on the Phillip Goldson Highway when Belisle attempted to overtake a number of vehicles on his way to Ladyville. Belisle collided head on into a white pick up truck, instantly killing 52-year-old Alden Rudolph Locke and 30-year-old Shane Goff who were passengers in the pick-up truck. When Belisle appeared in court, due to the nature of some of the offences, no plea could be taken, and when he was asked for his plea for the other charges, he pled not guilty. He was offered bail of $7,000, and his case was adjourned until October 28.
