On this past Friday, the National Secondary Schools Sporting Association (NSSSA) shoulder to shoulder with Bowen and Bowen Limited, shook hands on a one-year, $20,000 deal to sponsor and promote the Association’s annual regional and national tournaments in several disciplines. In return for exclusive rights to sponsorship and branding – the “Crystal NSSSA High School Basketball Championship” for example – the company’s Crystal brand is expected to provide free beverages and payments for expenses as well as promote the tournament in the press. Brand Coordinator for Crystal, Mr. Jason Solis, assured PLUS News that it is their way of giving back.
Mr. Jason Solis- Brand Coordinator for Crystal Products
“Crystal has always stood behind promoting a healthy lifestyle and helping kids balance between education and sports. And so, we are always involved in school fairs and school sports days and the tournaments on a whole. This is just taking it to another level in terms that we are helping with transportation, we are helping with the media, we are helping with security. And so, it is really expanding in the sponsorships and helping to take high school sports to another level, and it’s something that’s important to Crystal water and to Crystal beverage is something that we are proud to be a part of because we get a lot of sports from the high schools, and so, this is us giving back to high schools and giving back to the community”.
The agreement is for this school year and covers volleyball, football, softball, basketball and track and field.
