“At about 8:17 last night, Puma gas Station located on Havana Street, near the Drums of our Fathers Monument Park here in Dangriga, was once again robbed
According to reports, the proprietor, Malcolm Zabeneh, was at the entrance of the business establishment, talking to an employee who works at the pharmacy that is within the gas station building, when two armed men accosted him at knife-point, and forced him inside the building where they searched him.
Since they did not find anything valuable on him, they forced him to open a cash register, while another robber entered the scene with a handgun and pointed it at Zabeneh.
The incident happened so quickly that the three robbers, who concealed their faces with rags, made good their escape with over seven hundred dollars.
Attached to the business establishment is a gym, that quickly closed its doors for the night. However the thieves were caught on tape, and fortunately no one was physically injured in the ordeal.
