Donation made for KHMH Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

The Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital continues to move toward the construction of a new pediatric intensive care unit.  On Monday the office of the Special Envoy for Women and Children Kim Simplis Barrow which is spearheading the project announced that a further one million dollars is to be donated, half of which has already been received, from a donor who wishes to remain anonymous. The donation was channelled through Simplis-Barrow’s own Lifeline Foundation. The release calls the donation “a huge help” toward ensuring the completion of the project and the continued treatment of critically ill babies at home. Construction is expected to be completed sometime next year.
