Earthquake struck Honduras

vlcsnap-2013-04-10-20h05m21s22Tremors were felt in Belize when an earthquake struck Honduras this afternoon. The Earthquake hit 22 miles south east of Tela, Atlantida, Honduras and had a preliminary magnitude of 5.5 on the Richter Scale and a depth of 10 kilometers, which is about 6.2 miles. Reports coming out of Tela is that the quake caused an interruption to electrical systems and telephone services. Meanwhile, Tela along with other municipalities in Honduras have reported cracks in buildings and homes. So far, there have been no news of major damages
