Eden Seventh Day Adventist School was burglarized

Eden Seventh Day Adventist School is the second school to be burglarized in the Cayo District within two weeks. The burglary happened sometime last night. Tharine Gabourel, Principal, Eden SDA Primary School: A teacher who lives in Belmopan who comes to school very early so she alerted me that there has been a burglary at the school. So when I came some other teachers were already here and were looking around. As I got the news from the teacher I called the police so a few minutes after my arrival the police came.

Tharine Gabourel, Principal, Eden SDA Primary School: I noticed that they stole 4 of the speakers that the teachers use to enhance their lessons. They stole the school’s main laptop plus 3 other laptops and they also went 128 flash drives that we keep the school’s information on and some other things like a fan from my office, Samsung charger, and other things like that.

Last week, we reported that Arms of Love Primary School located in San Ignacio was also burglarized and thieves made off with ten Dell Laptops among other items.
