On Thursday June 11th the En Croix school of Dance, in Belmopan will be having its annual end of year production and they are inviting everyone to come out and support their young ballerinas ages 2 to 15 who have been diligently practicing their twirls, leaps and pointés to put off a good performance. Patty George, the director of Encroix school of Dance tells what the public should expect from these young ballerinas.
“We have quite a variety this year this year. We have ballet, modern, we have hip-hop, We have some theater, there is some kids doing a piece form Annie . Its going to be really great. It is going to be a great family event for the community so we are just encouraging people to come out and support this. “

“How many kids are performing and from what ages?”
“We have, currently, 49 students enrolled. It starts at age 2, that’s they youngest… well they are three now and then all the way up to 15, so to teenagers. “
“Tell me a little but more about the camp and what it is geared towards and care for?”
“The name of it is called ‘Diamonds’. We have been talking to the girls all year about their values and about who they are and who God has made them to be. Most of our performances are geared towards that.”
“What new with this event? Anything new that you will be bringing to the performance on Thursday? “
“The littlest ones, the two and three year olds, are doing a tap dance. So I know that that is not really something that done here in Belize so I am excited for them to do that, They are really really cute.”
The event starts at 6 pm sharp at the Belmopan Civic Center on Thursday June 11th. Tickets can be paid at the door and are also available at Formosa. Tickets are worth $10 for adults and $5 dollars for children.
