Father Appeals for Hit and Run Driver to Come Forward

KHMHA 13 year old boy was the victim of a hit and run accident in the Belize District. Such incident happened on Sunday February 23rd in the Burrel Boom area.

The father of the child, Earl Flores Sr, told police that he gave his son permission to go to his cousin’s house located 150 ft feet from his house.

About 20 minutes later, a family member came to his house asking him where his son was because a little boy got knocked down on the road and it looked like Earl Flores Jr.

The father then went to the scene of the accident and discovered that it was indeed his son, a student of Burrell Boom Methodist Primary School.

Earl Jr. was lying unconscious on the side of the road with visible injuries to his head. He was escorted to the K.H.M.H where he was admitted to ward in  critical condition. The father is appealing to the person who knocked down his son to please come forward.  Police investigations continue.
