“At about 12;13 this morning, Dangriga police were called out to an area on Commerce Bight Road where they observed a car on fire. With the assistance of the Fire Service Department, the fire was extinguished in no time. It was then that the charred remains of a human was seen inside the vehicle. At this time, police are trying to establish the identity of the deceased but reliable sources say that the remains found is that of Ralston Patnett, a former officer of the Fire Service Department. Police here say that they are treating this incident as a homicide. Some eye-witnesses who visited the scene said that they observed bullet holes on the driver’s side of the vehicle. What’s the motive here for this senseless killing? Police say they are still investigating.
