Four charged for trafficking heroin

Four persons have been charged with drug trafficking charges in the North. On Tuesday June 17 at about 5:15 p.m.,  Police Anti-Drug Unit (ADU) were conducting operations within the Corozal District when they  searched  a residence in Ranchito Village  and found seven parcels of suspected heroin. 51-year-old Fermin Velasquez, a mechanic of Ranchito Village, 25-year-old Eber Rivera of San Joaquin Village, 51-year-old Kua Liao also known as Peter, a Chinese businessman of 8 miles George Price Highway,  and 38-year-old Alba Velasquez, Salvadoran domestic of Ranchito Village, Corozal District, were all at the residence of the time of the search.  All four persons were  jointly charged with Drug Trafficking for 7,418 grams of suspected heroin.
