Guatemalan woman reported missing in Belize

A 19 year old Guatemalan store keeper residing in Melchor De Mencos, Guatemala reported to Benque Viejo police on January 18, 2016 that vlcsnap-2016-01-20-11h45m15s474on January 8, 2016 at 5:00am, his mother, 39 year old Lidia Janet Garcia Giron left home from Melchor, Guatemala enroute to banana farm #16 in the Cow pen area, Stann Creek District to meet with a male person whose nickname he only knows as “EL NICA”.  The young man told police that the last time he communicated with her mother was the same day she left home as he spoke to her on the phone while she was in San Ignacio some half hour after she had left home on January 8.  Police are asking the public to call the nearest police station if they know the whereabouts of Lidia Janet Garcia Giron.  The last time she was seen by her son, she was wearing  a black blouse, sky blue color long jeans pants and a black sandals. She is of clear complexion, is about 5ft 9in in height, has brown eyes, reddish straight hair and has a tattoo on one of her legs with the name ‘HUMBERTO” .
