Honduran Farmer caught with Cannabis

A Valley of Peace resident was arrested and charged with the offence of possession of a controlled drug. On Wednesday the 16th of December, a Special Operation was conducted in the Valley of Peace Village, where 47 year old Honduran Farmer Pablo Mancia Barahona’s house was searched. During the search, a small aluminum foil was retrieved from his left front pants pocket. When it was opened, it was said to contain a green leafy substance suspected to be cannabis. Barahona was then escorted to the Belmopan police station where the drug was weighed, and amounted to 8.0 grams. He was subsequently arrested and charged for the offence of possession of controlled drugs.
