Japan donates vehicles to Belize

vlcsnap-2017-01-12-16h45m54s584Today, the Government of Belize received three (3) new vehicles donated by the Government of Japan, through their Non-Project Grant for Industrial Products. According to a press release, the three (3) vehicles will be utilized by the Police Department, Belize National Fire Service and the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO), as on-site command centres during emergency situations. We hear more from Ms. Arlette Gomez, Public Relations Officer for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  Ms. Gomez said that the Vice Minister Shunsuke Takei for the Ministry of Foreigner Affair in Japan arrived in Belize on January 9, for today’s handing over and during his visit he met with several government official including the Deputy Prime Minister, Hon. Patrick Faber. Ms. Gomez went on to speak of the relationship between Belize and Japan.
