In celebration of its 21st anniversary, the Pandy Show, the oldest running show in the country, hosted its annual Little Miss Cayo Pageant, on Sunday, September 15th. A total of 21 beautiful little girls participated. Kent Pandy told us how the event went.
“The pageant was mostly…we would judge them by beauty and talent and introduction, and…it’s a very good turn-out; everyone was happy. What am doing it’s not for me; it’s for the community-the youths, the kids and I want them to know that they’re not helping me- they are helping the youths-the children.
I also want to thank Plus TV to give me the opportunity, and this is the reason why ah gih deh all and the business people deh, and not even the persons that have business but individual as they can support the show and support Plus TV, so that the show can continue”.
Jaslyn Aguilar of Santa Elena Town took the first place win, while Tyra Tucker won the second place and Keonda Kayaba made it with the third place; however, all 21 delegates received gifts, crowns, and sashes, since Mr. Kent Pandy believes that all participants should be treated as winners.
“The reason why I do this is because I have a dream that I should do certain things for the community especially for the youths-for the kids, because that the way the world is going now is not like before, and my dream is to come here is to show them the right way, that they can grow up and do positive things. My dream is to do things and help the community, help them by in anyway”.
