Latest murder in Belize City claims life of 29 year old

The murder carnage in Belize City continues as gunshots were heard again in the Southside. This time it took place on Reggae Street around 7:20 Monday night and the target was a resident of Jane Usher Boulevard. We hear more from Superintendent of Police Hilberto Romero on the circumstances surrounding the death of Wayne Rock.

 Upon arrival they found lifeless body of Wayne Rocke. He was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the head. Information revealed that he was repairing a vehicle. He had a light bulb on and it was at night when someone came and fired shots at him.”

“Is Mr. Rocke from that area?”

“Mr. Rocke is not from that area. He was there repairing a vehicle.”

“We have no motive at this time. We are asking the public’s assistance to call in with information. We have the 922 TIPS. Presently we don’t have anybody in custody for this murder.”

“This is an area of Reggae Street off Caesar Ridge Road. Like I said he was working on a vehicle and he had some sort of light that he was utilizing when repairing that vehicle.”
