The lifeless body of a man was pulled from the mouth of a River in the south. Dangriga correspondent Harry Arzu has the story.
“At about 11:00 this morning, Audric Felix Palacio was retrieved from the mouth of the Fresh Water Creek, also known as Hawaii, which runs to the sea, in the village of Hopkins. Palacio, a fisherman of the said village, reportedly left jhis house on Sunday, April 27th, on his bicycle to go fishing. When he did not return home at around 7:00 that night, his family became concerned and made a report to the police. As a result, a search combed the area, but to no avail. They continued their search for the morning and his body was later seen floating at the mouth of the creek. His body was taken to the Hopkins health center as police investigates the incident, and soon, after to the Southern Regional Hospital in Dangriga where it now awaits a post mortem examination. Police reported that they found no sign of violence on the body and do not suspect foul play”.
