Almost two weeks ago, 28 year old Ronald Rivers was shot to the face in front of the UNO Gas Station while fixing a vehicle. After a long battle, his kidneys failed and he suffered strokes and heart attacks. He was being kept on life support for some days and on Sunday morning, he passed away at the KHMH. His brother, Raymond Rivers says that he intends to host a basketball tournament in his brother’s memory. Meanwhile, Police have charged 18 year old Lloyd Alexander King with kept unlicensed firearm and ammunition after he was found with a .38 revolver, attempting to flee the scene. He pleaded guilty to those charges and was given a five year sentence for each offense, which will run concurrently. He was additionally charged with use of deadly means of harm, dangerous harm and attempted murder. But now that charge is expected to be upgraded to murder.
