Man charged for keeping an Unmuzzled Ferocious Dog

It’s not often that we hear about someone being charged for having their dog roam about unmuzzled. But after a baby pit bull was mauled to death by three dogs, the owners are heading to court. The complaint, a resident of Lords Bank, told Police that on Sunday morning, she was at home when her neighbor’s three dogs went into her yard and killed her four year pit bull, which by the way, was tied inside her yard. She said she tried to stop them, but was unable to fight off the vicious dogs. And further explained that this wasn’t the first time that her neighbor’s dogs got out of their yard. Police have since arrested and charged that neighbor, Andrew Castillo, for the offense of keeping an Unmuzzled Ferocious Dog at Large. The value of the pup was 1,500.00.
