A man who was caught red handed burglarizing a Maxboro’s house was today before the court to answer to two criminal offenses. He is 47-year-old Valentine Sanchez, a Mason of the Sand Hill area. But this is in no way a simple case, as it has its share of bizarre twists. Allegations are that sometime between July 5 -25 of this year, Sanchez trespassed into a three story home in the Maxboro area by removing three glass louvers. Once inside, he allegedly took a photo printer, a battery charger, an electric guitar, a tool kit with assorted tools and an assortment of crockery, all valuing close to $3,000. In a report to police, owner of the home said that he was at his Belize City residence when he got a call from neighbors that his home was being burglarized. Ramclam rushed to the area, where he and neighbor’s caught the allege burglar red handed inside his home. Ramclam with the help of the neighbors were able to overpower him and handed him over to police upon their arrival. According to police, none of Ramclam’s stolen items were found in Sanchez’s possession. But when detained by Police, Sanchez lied about his name, saying that he was Valen Sanchez. Well this brought an additional charge against him. Sanchez, who was unrepresented was slapped with two criminal offenses, one count of burglary and one count of committing a mischievous act. In court, Sanchez pleaded not guilty to both charges. Valentine who pleaded not guilty to the charges was offered bail in the sum of $3,000 plus one surety of the same. His next court date is set for September 27, 2013. What’s more is that in court, he submitted medical form which stated that he complained of pain to his chest and that he was seen with a cut wound to the left elbow and had to be taken to the KHMH.
