Man on life support after violating a restraining order

A man is on life support after violating a restraining order.  33 year old Mariana Galvez, a Guatemalan, owner of Mariana’s Bar in San Ignacio Town visited the San Ignacio police Station on Sunday  Feb 10th to make a report. Galvez said that between 2:00 and 2:30am, she was placing some beer in the freezer when a client approached her and asked her to sell him a last round. Galvez says that while she was attending to him, her ex-common law husband namely Jose Santos Pineda entered the bar and assaulted her client. She then ran outside but he caught up with her and grabbed her by the hair and threw her to the ground in the yard and assaulted her. She reported that a man whom she then recognized as Victor intervened where a struggle ensued between him and Jose . A few minutes later the police arrived and took Jose to the hospital along with Victor and the client who had been cut on the back. Jose Pineda was escorted to the San Ignacio hospital as well as Mariana where her injuries were classified as harm. Jose Pineda was seen suffering from injuries to his face and bleeding from the nose, he was admitted to the hospital and later transferred to Karl Huesner Memorial Hospital, Belize City in a critical state. Presently Jose is on life support and Police have since detained Mariana Galvez and 38 year old Victor Perez of Santa Elena Town. Galvez told Police that she has a restraining order against Jose which he violated when he came into her establishment.
