Police have issued a press release on the matter saying that Josue Garcia has been served with a notice of intended prosecution. Garcia was the one driving the truck that the horse collided into at the junction of Craig and Daly Streets. The horse, named Jack, was pulling a 6- seater carriage with 3 tourists in it.
The wheel of Garcia’s truck ran over the horse’s left foot causing it to break. No one else was injured but the horse had to be put down due to the severity of its injury.
