Man Thrown from Motorcycle in Belize City Accident

vlcsnap-2014-07-05-00h32m10s124There was a minor traffic accident in Belize City yesterday evening. According to police reports, 31-year-old Onofre Vellos, a Belizean Tour Guide of Belize City was driving a white van.

At the exit of the Brodies parking lot, he took a left onto the Phillip Goldson Highway when a Motor cycle, driven at the time by 68-year-old Fredrick Evans, collided into the left side of the bumper of the van.

Evans was thrown off the motorcycle and sustained a large cut wound to his left knee.  A notice of intended prosecution  was served on Vellos.
