Martin Mendoza charged for Orange Walk robbery

Orange Walk police have arrested and charged one man in connection with the August 2nd aggravated robbery of Odettets Home Center. According to ACP Joseph Myvette, information received by the Police led them to conduct a search at the home of Martin Mendoza, which led to the discovery of several stolen electrical devices belonging to the Home Center. ACP Myvette says that Police are looking for another suspect in connection to the robbery.

ACP Joseph Myvette, Head NCIB: On Friday, based on information received police conducted a search at the home of Martin Mendosa on San Pedro Street, Orange Walk Town, which resulted in the discovery of two cellular phone and two tablets. He was detained pending investigation. A further search of another home resulted in the discovery of two cell phones and other electronics equipment. These items were found to be the property of Odette store from where the aggravated burglary was committed on the 2nd of August. Police had since arrested and charged Martin Mendosa for the crime of aggravated burglary and is seeking one other person in connection with this crime.

Mendoza is known to the Police.
