Police continued their meet and greet sessions today, an initiative taking place in various parts of the country. It is an attempt to have residents of various communities to get to know the police officers in their areas and to also talk with the police about issues affecting their communities. Superintendent Howell Gillett told us more about today’s meet and greet session in Teakettle Village in the Cayo District. .The police officers say they were well received by the villagers who were also very candid with the officers regarding their concerns. Florentino Rash tells us that the meet and greet is mutually beneficial to the police and the residents.
