The Ministry of Health says it has received a public notification from the Unites States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), through the International Health Regulations of the World Health Organization, on health products that consumers are advised NOT to purchase.
Consumers are advised not to purchase or use the following products that are promoted and sold for weight loss on websites or in retail stores: Dr. Ming’s Chinese Capsule, 7 Days Herbal Slim, Sliming Diet Berry Plus, Asset Extreme, SlimEasy Herbs Capsule and Meizitang Citrus.
FDA Laboratory confirms that these products contain Sibutramine, a controlled substance removed from the market for safety reasons in October 2010.
In addition, consumers are advised to not purchase or use the following products promoted and sold for sexual enhancement: CONTROL All Natural Sexual Enhancement and Best Whips.
According to the FDA, these products contain the undeclared ingredients Sulfoaildenafil and Dimenthylsildenafil. These ingredients may interact with nitrates found in medications prescribed specifically to men suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol or heart disease.
The Ministry of Health says that users who have experienced any negative side effects of these products should consult a health care professional as soon as possible.
