The National Evangelical Association of Belize, not to be confused with the Belize City group of pastors known as the Evangelical Association of Belize, is getting ready to hold its first AGM on Monday Feb. 29th in Belmopan. The recently formed association is already focusing on important issued affecting the Belizean Society as a whole, not just the church. At the upcoming AGM, NEAB plans to update the pastors and church leaders in attendance on the decriminalizing of marijuana issue said to already be approved by Cabinet . NEAB says the invitation to attend the AGM is for as many church leaders as would participate. NEAB says it plans to draft a Statement on the Decriminalize Weed issue from the NEAB, and would like as many leaders as possible to be part of it by signing on to the Statement at the AGM. Besides the marijuana issue, the AGM will also look at other issues such as youth and national evangelism. THE AGM will be held at the Belmopan Civic Center from 8:30 am to 2 pm and is open to all leaders.
