An Orange Walk business was the target of a robbery. 64yr old Jose Ernesto Garcia, a Belizean Businessman of Trial Farm Village, reported that on Tuesday of this week at 3:45am he arrived at his business place to open for the day and went behind the counter when he felt someone place a firearm to his neck. Another male person then jumped over the counter and grabbed a knife and placed it to Garcia’s stomach demanding money. In fear for his life Garcia handed over his wallet that contained $920.00bcy and $560.00 pesos. The robbers also grabbed his silver chain. Garcia told Police that he was unable to recognize his assailants as they had on masks, gloves and long sleeve shirts.
