P.C. Randolph Scott in court for alleged sexual assault on female officer

vlcsnap-2013-11-06-08h05m42s28A police officer, sworn to protect the public, is accused of betraying the trust of a fellow police officer. According to police, P.C. #1149 Randolph Scott Jr., 30, of Neal’s Pen Road in Belize City, allegedly approached a female officer working at Precinct Four Police Station based in the Belama area on Saturday night, October 26, around 11:15 and sexually assaulted her by forcibly and indecently touching her on her private area. She further reported that when she refused his advances and tried to defend herself P.C. Scott then punched her in the mouth, causing her to receive a bruise to the inner lower lip. This injury was classified by doctors as harm. In the #4 Magistrate’s Court on Monday, P.C. Scott was charged with aggravated assault of an indecent nature and harm and pleaded not guilty. He was released on bail of 1,000 dollars. He returns to court on December 12.
