Pickwoad case pushed back to February

After a short session before Chief Justice Kenneth Benjamin on Thursday morning,  the principals in the case of Bernadette Pickwoad vs Ministry of Natural Resources had little new to tell PLUS News.

The trial is concluded but the two sides are still trying to work out a settlement over the plot of land leased by Bernadette Pickwoad, allegedly taken away for lack of development, then sold and titled to Maud Williams and her grandson, the son of ex-Ministry CEO Beverly Castillo.

Written submissions will be made by next January 19, and the case resumes on February 19.
