Police arrest incident caught on video

Two persons have been arrested in San Ignacio following an incident that was caught on camera on Burns Avenue on Friday May 27th. Some say the video shows a case of police brutality but the charges laid are against the dog owner. Here is a look at the video. The first man has been charged with obstruction, assaulting a police officer and having an un-muzzled and ferocious dog while the person he was with was charged for possession of controlled drugs. The video made its rounds on facebook and accusations of police brutality have arisen; not only against the man, but against the animal as well; but the video does not show that the police were at first trying to conduct a search for drugs on the man, according to San Ignacio police.  We understand that the man in the video has refused to make an official report against the police officers and is not claiming any type of abuse at this time.vlcsnap-2016-06-01-10h31m36s465 vlcsnap-2016-06-01-10h31m39s069 vlcsnap-2016-06-01-10h31m43s039 vlcsnap-2016-06-01-10h31m57s188
