Police is trying to identify the body of a male person

Orange Walk police are investigating what appears to be another homicide. The victim is yet unidentified as the body of the Hispanic male person was found on a farm in Millers Bight area in the Orange Walk District.  According to police reports, at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, a man went to his farm where he smelled a stench that was coming from a cane field behind his farm. Upon making checks, he made the gruesome discovery of a decomposed body. Police were called in and due to the advanced state of decomposition, the post mortem was conducted on site. The post mortem revealed that the male Hispanic person died due to strangulation. Police investigations continue.
