Police operations in San Pedro yield unlicensed weapon

The crime in San Pedro Ambergris Caye has spiked over the past few months with reports of shootings and killings becoming more frequent. It is believed that most of the shootings and killings are drug and firearm related and so police in that municipality have cracked down in trying to address the drug and firearm situation.  On March 6, San Pedro Police conducted a house search at the residence of  51-year-old Peter Moses Hernandez, aka Campos of San Juan Area, San Pedro Town.  Also present were 26-year-old Marciana Susana Campos, 23-year-old Teresita Jessely Cordova,  48-year-old Guadalupe Gonzalez,  42-year-old Victor Vasquez,  52-year-old John Arana, 30-year-old Michael Edwards aka Zetaz,  27-year-old Juan Gomez, 44-year-old  Laura Trapp  25-year-old Pedro Campos  all of the same address.The search of the residence led to the discovery of a .22 Taurus Brand  pistol fitted with a metal magazine which was loaded with (8) .22 ammunition. Also found was a small box containing (15) .22 ammunition.They were all jointly for “kept firearm without a gun license and kept ammunition without a gun license”
