Shakeem Humes Charged With Aggravated Assault And Damage To Property

Shakeem Humes has been charged with aggravated assault and damage to property, for an incident occurring nearly three months ago.

On July 17, Mr Humes is alleged to have pointed a firearm at Carlos McKenzie, who was in a vehicle belonging to the Government of Belize, and fired shots at him.

Mr McKenzie escaped injury, but the front and rear windshield of the vehicle was damaged to a total of $2,325.

Shakeem Humes pleaded not guilty before Chief Magistrate Ann-Marie Smith and was remanded until November 17.
