vlcsnap-2014-01-03-18h28m33s249vlcsnap-2013-12-17-21h25m45s13130 year old Hensleigh Ryan Jones was today escorted to the Corozal Magistrate court, where he was arraigned for the attempted murder of his father.  Jones is accused of shooting 53 year old Hensley Jones three times to the head on the night of January 1st.

The two were at the victim’s home in the kitchen area, when Jones reportedly pulled out a firearm and shot his father, twice to the left side of his head and one to the back of the head.  Jones managed to staggered out into the yard, where he met Police responders.

Jones was admitted to the KHMH in a critical condition. What may have led the 30 year old to allegedly commit such an act is still being investigated by Police, though his father claims that Hensleigh Jones shot him for no reason.  Jones appeared before Magistrate Marlene Moody this morning, where he was formally charged with one count of attempted murder and use of deadly means of harm.  He was remanded into custody until March 5th, of this year.
