Surveillance camera nabs thieving employee

29 year old former Fultec Systems employee, Kristoff Riverol who was allegedly caught stealing on his workplace’s surveillance camera, today pleaded guilty to two counts of theft. Riverol  had been employed with Fultec for only a month as a Sales Support Representative but it is alleged that between May 16, 2016 and May 20, 2016, he stole 2 1-terabyte My Passport Ultra external hard drives valued at 2 hundred 39 dollars and 95 cents each, property of Fultec Systems, located on Coney Drive, Belize City. Riverol, a first-time offender, swore to Magistrate Mendoza that he has learnt a lesson and that he will never get into such trouble again. He was fined a thousand dollars on each count to be paid by September 30, in default 2 years total in prison but one year served concurrently.
